Kent East Remembers
Girl Guiding Kent East are proud to remember. We would normally be joining other uniformed organisations to remember those who gave so much, however, this year we have not been able to, but all across the county girls from all sections, leaders and trefoil members have been remembering.
KE Garden of England Picnic
Thank you to everyone for taking part in Girlguiding Kent East County Picnic. The weather wasn’t the best for a picnic but it was great to see how many adapted, The baking was amazing and your flowers beautiful, so imaginative. Bell Bottom Boating
Kent East Brownies, Guides and Rangers had wonderful weather for our afternoon of Bell Bottom boating at Hythe. We had 120 young people making up 12 teams of ten young people. The winning team was Shepherdswell Guides who completed the course in the fastest time. It was good to see so many people enjoying
Long Service awards were handed out by our County Commissioner and President at a special afternoon tea at the Cathedral Lodge Canterbury, more that 640 years service between them!
90+ girls participated in an Arts Camp in May 2019 as part of the Girlguiding Kent East Count Choir 10th Birthday celebrations. All the girls who attended completed an Arts Award qualification at either Discover, Explore or Bronze level.
